Pam Kramer, Fine Art Artist
Oil and Watercolor
Hi, my name is Pam Kramer and I paint oils and watercolors based on my love of the wide, open spaces of the west as I incorporate much of this beauty into my paintings.
I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and came to Colorado at the young age of seventeen to attend the University of Colorado (Boulder). After graduating with a degree in Fine Art, I worked as an interior decorator before becoming a full time artist. Over the years, I have taken many workshops with nationally acclaimed artists and have shown my paintings in exhibits and galleries in Denver, Colorado; Taos, New Mexico; and Maui, Hawaii.
To me, art is a constantly evolving learning process. I am constantly intrigued with the contrast of lights and darks in nature and I try to capture that in my paintings.
Currently I reside in Castle Rock, Colorado with my golden retriever, Lola. I enjoy going on walks with Lola, spending time growing fruits, vegetables and herbs in my garden, volunteering for local community groups and teaching painting to other artists.
